# Nilo Agent Resources

> Public, deployment-owned reference for AI agents and integrations that use Nilo's HTTP API or website widgets.

## Canonical documentation

- [OpenAPI JSON](https://app.nilo-assistant.com/api-docs/openapi.json): Canonical machine-readable HTTP API contract.
- [API reference](https://app.nilo-assistant.com/api-docs): Documentation-only Swagger UI for inspecting the OpenAPI contract. It cannot send requests.
- [Agent integration guide](https://app.nilo-assistant.com/public/agent-docs): Tenant boundary, website widgets, and styling concepts.
- [Full agent reference](https://app.nilo-assistant.com/llms-full.txt): Detailed plain-text website-widget contract.
- [Widget starter stylesheet](https://app.nilo-assistant.com/public/widgets/v1/nilo-widgets.css): Optional responsive CSS for Nilo widget markup.

## HTTP API

- Base URL: `https://app.nilo-assistant.com`
- Authentication: `Authorization: Bearer $NILO_API_KEY`
- Contract: `https://app.nilo-assistant.com/api-docs/openapi.json`

Use only routes in the OpenAPI contract. API bearer keys are secret. Do not use browser automation or a browser session for API actions.

## Website widgets

- Runtime: `https://app.nilo-assistant.com/public/widgets/v1/embed.js`
- Elements: `nilo-contact-form`, `nilo-chatbot`, `nilo-news`, `nilo-scheduler`
- Obtain actual widget IDs and the publishable widget key from the signed-in Nilo Widgets page.
- `nilo-scheduler` supports placement-specific visitor copy, confirmation copy, field labels, and phone/notes visibility through documented attributes in [the full agent reference](https://app.nilo-assistant.com/llms-full.txt#scheduler-visitor-copy).
- Widget markup is light DOM and can be styled with the documented `nilo-*` CSS classes.
- The widget public key is browser-visible by design and is not an API bearer key.
